Obtaining COGNIA accreditation means that GRESOL meets the quality standards of an international school that is committed to continuous improvement in pursuit of excellence.
One of the many requirements for accreditation is to successfully pass the visit of an international team of professional educators who verify our school’s procedures, processes and quality implementation.
Cognia™ (formerly AdvancED) is a world leader in certifying educational institutions that strive for excellence, a non-profit organization that provides quality assurance for schools, school districts and educational service providers.
Cognia™ nationally recognizes districts that meet rigorous standards focused on productive learning environments, equitable allocation of resources that meet student needs, and effective leadership.
The school accreditation awarded by the Commission on Global Cognia™ Accreditation demonstrates to our community our commitment to excellence, our openness to external review and feedback, and our desire to be the best we can be on behalf of the students we serve.”
To obtain Cognia™ accreditation, a school must also implement a continuous improvement process and submit internal and external review. Schools in good standing may maintain their accreditation for a period of five years.
Cognia™ is the parent organization of the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School (NCA CASI), the Northwest Accrediting Commission (NWAC) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI).
